Impacts of Fossil Fuel Development and Use On Human Health, Wildlife, and the Environment

The Allegheny County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America will be hosting a very special event on Tuesday, March 26th from 7 PM – 8:30 PM, with three leading experts on the causes and impacts of climate change.

Dr. Ned Ketyer - M.D., F.A.A.P., Pediatric Alliance, PC, Editor, The PediaBlog, AAP Council on Environmental Health, SWPA Environmental Health Project (Consultant), Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania (Board member), Climate Reality Project Leader - will speak about Health in Pennsylvania's Petrochemical Frack Zone.

Larry Schweiger - President PennFuture, Award-Winning Author: Last Chance, Past President National Wildlife Federation & Western Pennsylvania Conservancy - will tell us about the Impacts of Climate Change on Fish, Wildlife, and Our Natural Habitat.

Perry Recker - Member Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Climate Reality Leadership Corps, IWLA, retired college librarian, and long-time worldview educator - will present on Features of the Proposed Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act and Their Potential Impacts on Gas and Plastics Industries in Western PA.

Speakers will then join the audience for an interactive discussion.
